Bob Parlier

Bob is a professional drummer who is experienced in both performance and education.

He began his education in percussion at Columbia College in Chicago and finished at the School for Music Vocations Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa.

Bob's teaching experience includes rudimental snare drum, drum set techniques and styles including classical, jazz, rock, and Afro-Cuban.

Bob has enjoyed performing in many jazz and rock groups over the years such as The Emilie Bishop Quintet, The Glenn Roberts Group, The Like Minds Trip, a funk / fusion group which performs weekly at Redmond’s in Wrigleyville.

Bob is a talented drummer who enjoys teaching varied techniques and styles of percussion.
