Daniel Effland

Dan received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from West Virginia University, during which, he spent a semester at Middlesex University in London. Dan has taught both classroom and private instruction in guitar, bass, music theory, as well as jazz styles. He has been a performer throughout Chicago, the Mid-Atlantic region, and has performed with John Bany, Claudia Stefanski, Jeff Hedberg, Charles Pillow, Paul Thompson, and Daniel Rodriguez. Dan has also performed in the Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, the West Virginia Public Theatre, and other local and regional jazz and pop groups.
