Ryan Ibbetson
Ryan, a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, received his Masters Degree with honors from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and was an active performer in the San Francisco area performing with numerous professional orchestras and ensembles including the Monterey Symphony, the Marin Symphony, the Fresno Philharmonic, the Santa Cruz Symphony and was clarinetist with the contemporary music group Ensemble Parallèle. Ryan completed his Bachelors of Music at the Lamont School of Music of the University of Denver and was an active performer in the Denver area performing with various ensembles including the Colorado Opera Festival, the Denver Youth Artist Orchestra and was principal clarinetist of the Centennial Philharmonic. Ryan has performed in master classes for Nathan Williams, Michelle Zukovsky and Richard Stolzman. As a recipient of the Kanter Plant Foundation award from the University of Denver, Ryan performed and studied in Japan during the summer of 2001. Ryan’s prominent teachers have been Michael Grego, Ramon Kireilis, David Breeden, and John Bruce Yeh. As a high school student, Ryan was winner of the Southwestern Youth Music Festival in Los Angeles and a member of the National High School Honor Orchestra.
