Suzanne Nance, Voice
Suzanne Nance (soprano) received her Master degree in vocal performance from DePaul University. She has recently appeared as Meg in Little Women, La Princesse in L'Enfant et les sortileges and the Spirit in Dido and Aeneas. During the 2005 La Musica Lirica Festival (Novelfeltria, Italy) Suzanne appeared as Ottavia in L'Incoronazione di Poppea and Cio-Cio San in scenes from Madama Butterfly. Last year She performed the title role in Tobias Picker's contemporary opera Emmeline as part of the American Opera Scenes program at the Chicago Cultural Center. She was also a soloist in a concert of selections from The AIDS Quilt Songbook. A recipient of the 2005 David Leibig Memorial Grant and a finalist in the 2005 West Palm Beach National Vocal Competition, Suzanne has been featured in concert in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Boston and London. She has performed on PBS and NPR made a guest appearance on ABC's Good Morning America. Suzanne Nance currently teaches voice in Chicago and Philadelphia.
