2012 can be your year to get back to enjoying music .  Adult students are glad to return to music after a reprise for work and raising a family.  Senior students can enjoy our daytime offerings and new students are welcome to come to begin the process of learning how music works.  Whatever your interest or ambition for music we welcome you to enjoy the experience with us at the Cappelli Institute of Music.  All ages and levels are welcomed.

Interesting Facts About the New Cappelli Institute of Music Location

Originally built in the 1890's, our  building underwent major restoration and consequently won a 2010 Preservation Award for Restoration/Rehabilitation. Our rooms have been built to suit our needs and we are delighted to be  in the heart of  Downtown Lake Street in Oak Park053 Lake Street: Awarded a 2010 Preservation Award for Restoration/Rehabilitation.

This 1890's structure was originally the Oak Park State Bank which opened with $50,000.00. The structure had undergone modifications which led to the conditions before renovation. Garapolo Maynard Architects and the Owner decided to remove portions of the marble to reveal the original building elements. The original elements were maintained and the masonry returned to its original color - Jeff Cappelli
